Campground Covid-19 Updates:

Update 6/18/2021:

On June 14, 2021, Governor Scott removed all State COVID-19 restrictions.

The Camp Store is NOW OPEN!  The walk-up window will remain available as well for check ins and quick store purchases.  Store Hours: Monday – Thursday: 10am-7pm; Friday and Saturday: 9am–9pm; Sunday: 9am-6pm.

Both pools are repaired with brand new liners and are open!  The hot tub is open – max capacity is 4 people and age 18 and up ONLY.

The only thing that remains closed is the Bath House and Laundry Room due to construction.  Opening date is scheduled for July 15th and then tent camping and non self-contained campers will be welcomed back!  Reservations are now open for Tent sites for dates of July 15th and later.

Update 5/15/2021 to State Travel Restrictions:

*All State travel restrictions have been lifted!  Lodging is no longer required to collect a Certificate of Compliance.

Campground Opening Update: Opening May 14th!
Here is what we expect for our operations as of now, 5/10/2021.

May 14th: Opening Day for self-contained RV’s and Cabin rentals only.

TENT SITES & BATHHOUSE UPDATE: We are currently under construction with a BRAND NEW BATHHOUSE coming for 2021!!
*July 1st: Current tentative completion date of Bathhouse and reopening of Tent Sites.
*June 1st: We will re-evaluate the bathhouse progress and begin taking future Tent Site reservations.

Lower Pool: is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend, (weather dependent).  New pool liner was installed Fall 2020!
Upper Pool: Is in need of repair and we are waiting on parts.  We hope to have this one fixed and open in time for Father’s Day weekend, June 18th
Hot Tub: Will reopen at normal hours, max occupancy is 4 people (adults 18+ only).  Limit use time to 30min.

CAMP STORE:  We will continue to operate the camp store and check-in through the outdoor window on the side porch.  We anticipate reopening access to shop inside the Camp Store in June, once all staff/family members are fully vaccinated.

Occupancy limitations on pools and other communal areas to allow for social distancing and mask requirements will be in effect based on our local, state and CDC guidelines.

Site Occupancy & Visitors: Normal site occupancy and visitor policy will resume.  There is a limit of 6 people per any campsite at all times. This includes any overnight guests and day visitors.  All day visitors must be pre-registered with us by the campsite renter in advance, we will not admit any visitor we are not expecting.  Visitors must register at office upon arrival, pay visitor fee, obtain parking pass and exit the campground by 9pm.

Update 4/9/2021 to State Travel Restrictions:

Unvaccinated people must have a COVID-19 test within 3 days before arriving in Vermont.

  • The test you get must be for a current infection (like a PCR test), except it cannot be an antigen test (also known as a rapid test).
  • If the test is negative, no quarantine is needed. If the test is positive, do not come to Vermont.
  • Please bring proof of your negative test result with you.

Vaccinated people do not need to get tested or quarantine.

People who had COVID-19 within the last 3 months and have recovered do not need to test or quarantine unless they develop new symptoms.
When you arrive at a lodging site, you and anyone traveling with you must self certify that you meet the conditions by submitting the Certificate of Compliance Form.

Update 2/23/2021 to State Travel Restrictions:

If you have been vaccinated, you do not need to quarantine to travel to Vermont or return to Vermont, as long as at least 14 days have passed since you received your final vaccine dose.  Otherwise, anyone returning or traveling to Vermont must follow Vermont’s mandatory quarantine/testing policy.

Update  1/1/21:

*2021 Reservations for RV Sites (self-contained campers) & Cabin Rentals will open on January 11th!
*Opening date for Tent Sites Reservations and small campers: TBD (will be based on opening of bathhouse. Although we are optimistic that the bathhouse and tent sites will reopen in 2021, we will delay taking tent reservations until the season gets closer and can be sure.)

Opening day is scheduled for May 14th, so at this early date and during this ongoing pandemic, it is simply impossible to know what the 2021 camping season will be like, or what areas and amenities may still be impacted by the virus. We certainly hope to be in full operation and are optimistic!  But we will just have to wait and see how the next several months progress and where things are come May.  We will make decisions based on the most current state guidance and in the best interest for the health and safety of our guests, community and staff. Updates will be posted right here.

Please review the current Vermont Cross State Travel & Quarantine Restrictions prior to reserving. Currently, there is a mandatory quarantine restriction for anyone entering the state, limits on gathering sizes to those just in your household and there is a certificate of compliance that every guest must submit at check-in. There is no way for us to know when this will change or be relaxed, please take this into consideration when planning your travels.

We look forward to seeing everyone this season and wish everyone a happy, safe and healthy 2021.

Update (9/8/20):

  • Tent sites and bathhouse will remain closed for the 2020 season.  Self-contained RV’s and cabin rentals only at this time.
  • Check-in will be done at the walk-up window on the side porch.  Please plan to arrive by 8pm.
  • Store has been relocated to the screened porch and sales operate through the walk up window.
  • Registered overnight site guests only, NO visitors allowed
  • Social distancing must be observed when around or interacting with those outside your own family/site. Stay 6+ feet apart!
  • Masks that cover your nose and mouth are encouraged anytime you leave your site or are interacting with those outside of your household/site.

  • Pools are closed for the season.
  • River tubes (limited) and kayak rentals are available!
  • Laundry room is open for 1 guest/family at a time.
